What is JeepSpeed?
The ATK JeepSpeed Racing Series has been designed to give Jeep enthusiasts the opportunity to take their daily driver and race it among other enthusiasts. The ATK JeepSpeed Series is split into two divisions: the Challenge and the Cup.
The ATK JeepSpeed Challenge is open to Jeep Cherokee XJ models produced from 1984 through 2001 with a stock wheel base +/- 2" = 103.4", Wrangler TJ max wheelbase 103.4", Wrangler JK 2 door stock wheelbase 95.74" +/- 2"= 97.4", Grand Cherokee ZJ and WJ 105.9". Any option combination (2-door, 4-door, 2-wheel-drive, 4-wheel-drive, 4-cylinder, V6, inline 6, manual transmission, automatic transmission, etc.) is acceptable, as long as it was available in the United States from the manufacturer in that configuration.
The Cup Race is open to Jeep Utility Vehicles. Any option combination (2-door, 4-door, 2-wheel-drive, 4-wheel-drive, 4-cylinder, V6, inline 6, V8, manual transmission, automatic transmission, etc.) is acceptable, as long as it was available in the United States from the manufacturer. The only limit is that the 8 cylinder engines cannot be dry sump.
